ARIZONA, the new Cancun..... for those on a budget

We went to the AZ for an adult weekend. Eason and Jett got to stay at Grandma and Granddad's.
I am not going to lie to you.  Dry or not it was hot...but what did I care, we had a pool and adult beverages.

In route to get the rental car, I made a comment regarding something about how my Iced Latte was too cold.  Almost immediately I was called a snobbish something,"your life is so rough", etc.  The lady at the Hertz Counter was not impressed with me either, "Tell me again WHY you left beautiful Colorado to come HERE?" I said "peer pressure and poor judgement"......she then upgraded us to the the SWEET SWEET JETTA.
Just like Cancun, but we had to get our own drinks. Oh and no beach, sea, swim up bar...
The pool was a little smaller than Cancun, but private.
Risking the camera for the "in the waterfall shot".
I may have had one adult beverage prior to taking this photo.
Yep, I was the Volleyball Champ. I found it hard to keep my beverages cold, as the ground was so hot it would heat up my drink almost immediately.
  Night swimming.
Here's a little known fact.  If you use a travel coffee mug for your adult beverages, it not only conceals, but also keeps it cold.  Working in almost a bizarre reversal of the traditional use to keep coffee warm.
The more you know.  My own little PSA.
Noodle, great pool accessory. I lost Melissa in the Walgreen/Liquor Store(now that is convenient[the liquor store in a Walgreens, not loosing Melissa]), she came around the corner carrying Noodles. GOOD CALL.
I am pretty sure I won the Noodle Olympics.

People were golfing..... I was not one of these people. See above, it was hot.

TAKING GRANDMA FOR A FLIGHT

We took Pam for a flight on Saturday morning.

Turn you speakers down.

You can't hear it but just after we took off, she said "oh Sh#$". I giggled.

STEAMBOAT VAIL

So we took a quick trip to STEAMBOAT and then on to VAIL. I get a FAIL stamp when it comes to taking photos. We went to a wedding, rode our bikes everywhere and had bit of fun.
STEAMBOAT.  Still a ton of snow on the mountain

VAIL

I did get these sweet shots of Eason in our room.
